Breaking Silence Internship Description: (OPEN) Project Safe is seeking an intern for Fall 2018 semester interested in presenting vital information on the dynamics of dating violence to teens and young adults. This internship is ideal for health promotions, child & family development, education, women’s studies, psychology, sociology, or public health students. Preference is given to masters level students, and those who can commit to more than one semester. Counseling Internship Description: (OPEN)  Project Safe is seeking a responsible counseling intern who can commit to a 12 month internship. Preference is given to counseling students seeking an internship for academic credit. Interns will work closely with Project Safe’s Outreach Advocate (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in providing individual counseling sessions, support groups, and general support to the clients of Project Safe. Direct Services Internship Description: (OPEN) Project Safe is currently recruiting for direct service interns for Fall 2018. Preference is typically given to applicants who can commit to 20-30  hours a week. This internship is ideal for students or graduates looking for hands on experience in the social work, child and family development, or criminal justice field. Thrift Store Internship Description: (OPEN) Project Safe is currently recruiting for a Fall 2018 Thrift Store Intern. Preference is given to applicants who can commit to at least 15 hours a week and those who can commit to more than one semester. This intern will work closely with the store manager, staff, and volunteers in improving the productivity and profit of the store and would be ideal for students studying business or marketing/advertisement.
