Our updated Constant Shelter Supply List is available here: Project Safe Shelter Supply Needs
Donations of any of the items on the list are greatly appreciated as they are directly distributed among shelter residents. Items in bold are those that we are in low supply of, which include: diapers and pull-ups of various sizes, Naproxen, trash bags, umbrellas, adult socks, children’s art supplies, and women’s comfort clothes like sweatpants, yoga clothes, t-shirts and shorts in all sizes.
No gift is too small and Project Safe is always grateful to receive donations from members of the community. All donations can be dropped off at our Thrift Store at 995 Hawthorne Avenue, Athens, GA 30606 during the hours of 10am-6pm, Monday-Saturday.
Adopt A Room At Project Safe
With support of members of the Athens Area Home Builders Association, Project Safe is increasing our emergency shelter capacity from 16 beds to 21 beds. You can help make our shelter more like home for people who have had to flee their own homes to escape domestic violence.
If you are interested in adopting a family bedroom & bathroom, single bedroom & bathroom or adopting a kitchen or living room, please email Linnea Ionno at Lionno@project-safe.org. Items needed for donation can be viewed below or at this link!
