Dancing with the Athens Stars

Voting is underway for the 3rd annual Dancing with Athens Stars on March 21, 2010. Award-winning chef Hugh Acheson and his instructor Natalie Grier Cox are in first place.  Clarke County Sheriff Ira Edwards and Genie Wiggins have a slim lead over  horticulturalist Allan Armitage and Liza Pitts. 2008 People’s Choice runner-up Laurie Jones and her instructor Dana Skelton are in fourth, while Madison County High School student Dylan Brooks and his instructor Christy Moody and  2008 People’s Choice runner-up Charlotte House and her instructor Heather Hogan round out the top six.

Trophies will be awarded to the couple most favored by our panel of judges, as well as to the couple who earns the greatest number of votes prior to and during the show.  Each vote is $1 contributed to Project Safe (i.e. $50 equals 50 votes).  Voting continues through the last intermission of the show on March 21st.
